Celebrate Recovery 1 Day Training Seminars
Date: 2009
Since starting in Saddleback in 1992, Celebrate Recovery has grown to be a vital part of the ministry of thousands of churches around the world. Churches that have seen lives set free from addictive and compulsive behaviours as people work through the 12 steps of recovery and Celebrate Recovery’s 8 principles, based on the beatitudes, to forgive wrongs, make amends for wrongs they have done to others, and learn to live life in daily contact with their higher power Jesus Christ.
When preaching a sermon isn’t enough, the Celebrate Recovery programme may be the answer for your church, to see lives set free from burdens of guilt and shame that cause members of your congregation and your community to be less than the effective Christians and leaders in your church that they could be.
In the seminar you will learn:
How to start your Celebrate Recovery Ministry.
The seven keys of Celebrate Recovery: Leadership, Senior pastor support, Curriculum Worship, New Groups, Fellowship, Outreach.
With practical tips from leaders who have been involved in the ministry for years.
The seminars are for anybody who has an interest in and a heart to reach those who are hurting in your church and your community. Particularly pastors and church leaders who want to see their churches become centres of real healing from life’s hurts.
If you are interested in holding one of these seminars in your area please email Libby Hunt on libby@mcconline.org.nz or click on the link below to register your interest in attending our next session.
