Celebrate Recovery Networking by Penny, Encourager Hi Everyone… My name is Penny; I’m a believer who struggles with alcoholism. As the National CR Encourager I want to encourage each of you in your CR ministries. I had the privilege of being sent by my church to the CR summit at Saddleback in August. What an absolutely awesome experience where God really blessed me with awesome worship, great teaching and wonderful fellowship and networking with others worldwide in this programme. I have already started planning to go next year and encourage you to do the same to this ”not-to-be-missed” event. I want to encourage each group to network with other groups within your region and also on a National Level. This is important so we can learn from each other on this road to recovery. I would encourage you to have joint leader training together with other groups in your area to build each other up and to share fellowship with other leaders in this vital ministry. I know as a leader that we tend to forget about ourselves when we are leading people in recovery and I have found it great to share with other leaders and it has helped on my own road to recovery. 1 Thessalonians 5:11 says “ So encourage each other and build each other up, just as you are already doing.” Yours in Christ’s Service- Penny
